2.a) Generally number of ports depends on the type of mother board. A CPU generally contains ports like DVI,HDMI,VGA,USB,PS/2 ports.

b) BTW,Skype -port 80 ; incoming connections - port 443; Simple Mail Transfer Protocol(SMTP) -port 25; pop-or-not service using udp, POP3 service using tcp -port 110; File Transfer Protocol(FTP) -port 21; Secure Shell -port22; Remote Desktop Protocol -port 3389.

c) Hackers can hack and spreads malware through specific ports to access computers.

d) We can set our firewall to block the specific port which is already opened or else we can remove that.
