The most challenging aspect of strategic planning in a health care organization is the efficiency in processing functions. Carrying out instructions through proper communication will help in processing the activities involved in an efficient manner. It is important that a clear vision is set for the mission and aspirations that we plan for the future. Then identifying the challenges we will have to face in attaining those aspirations is essential. Finding out our potentials and how they can be worked in a way that is different and helpful for the people taking services from us. Planning the step to step procedure in facing the challenges and achieving the aspiration we aim for in the organization. To face the challenges in strategic planning the initial step should be analyzing the current situation of the organization. And in this procedure the past situations, their challenges and the outcomes have to be analyzed too. This will help to understand where we stand as a structure in the current scenario. Also the study includes the internal as well as the external environment effecting the organization\'s operations to be taken into consideration. These environmental factors will help in visualising the aspects and finding ways to handle them effortlessly. After this analysis, a study has to be made for the future targets of the organisation.
