Choose a product (or service). Research the firm or product you have chosen. (Choose a product you are interested in learning more about— possibly at a firm where you\'d like to work.) Consider the target customers and the four Ps of the marketing mix for your selected product. Please write and post your essay addressing the following: (a) Identify what you have selected to discuss. Then briefly describe the current target customers and the current status of each of the four Ps for your selected product. (b) Select one of the four Ps that most needs to be changed today, explain why, and give reasons. Explain your proposal for exactly what should be changed, how, etc. and give reasons. (c) Changing one element of the marketing mix usually impacts the other Ps. Discuss exactly how your proposal will impact each of the other elements of the marketing mix--discuss what will need to be done and why. Give reasons. Solution
my choosen product is ice-cram. the second P is price of the product, which is 50 cents, third P is place availability of the product, it will be available at all retail stores and fourth P is promotional activities. i will promote this product by giving ads in televisions with child.
a. the targeted customers are children and adult who are around 15 years.
b. from the 4ps i choose the availability, we think that if the product is ordered through online, it is better to get more sales. but the order should be in bulk, not less than 100 units or one box (box consists of 100 units)
c. the promotional activities will be decides by the top management. if we fail to reach the target customers with the present methods, then we go with new methods.
