In straight repurchase situation consumer order same product again and again i.e freqently ordering of same product .When product is falls below pre-determined level consumer order same product by using automated ordering system. In this situation supplier is in benefit but competitor has to struggle to make the market.
Modified Re-purchase
In modified re-purchase the purchases occur when goods or services previously a straight re-puchase for some factor reason now under re-evaluation process.Many reasons like end of contract period,Change in consideration or involved in the purchase,removing of supplier from approved list,top level management,competitor etc leads to modifiedre-puchases.
New Task Purchases
As its name suggests, these are the puchases which buyer rarely or one made the purchase.New task can be considered either as minor or major(It depends on the total cost).In this the buyer spends more time on finding better or other alternatives.
