Explain the advantages and disadvantages of having the firewall disabled at start up in the Linux operating system

Solution

From my point of view There is no specific ADVANTAGE of disabling firewall this feature actually as it’s purpose is to block the incoming unauthorized packets which is a good thing regarding the security.
But, the limitation of this feature is that you cannot even ‘ping’ that particular PC and this might be sometime troublesome to IT technician who needs to check the live workstations or perform RDP.
So, disabling this feature will let us perform the above mentioned activities which can be stated as an advantage in a sense.
