Simply the expressions and solve the equations. v^2 +6v+ 8 v/V^2 + V - 12 v + 2/2v-6 2/b-2 = b/b^2 - 3b + 2 + b/2b - 2

Solution

2/(b -2) = b/(b^2 -3b +2) +b/(2b -2)

RHS b/(b^2 -3b +2) +b/(2b -2)

factorise : b^2 - 3b +2 = b^2 - 2b -b +2 = b(b-2) -1(b-2)

= (b -1)(b-2)

So, b/(b^2 -3b +2) +b/(2b -2) = b/(b -1)(b-2) +b/2(b -1)

Take 2(b-1)(b -2) as LCD: [ 2b +b(b-2)]/2(b-1)(b-2)

= ( b^2)/(2(b-1)(b-2)

Now 2/(b -2) =  ( b^2)/(2(b-1)(b-2)

(b-2) gets cancelled from both sides

2= b^2/2(b-1)

4b - 4 = b^2

b^2 -4b +4 =0

(b -2)^2=0

b = 2

But original equation does not exist at b=2.So no solution for equation
