2.) The following points should be considered while installing a hammock

1. The applied load of the person should not exceed the specified value by the manufacturer.

2. The fittings used to join the hammock to the tree or ceiling should be done such that they can withstand the applied load.

3. For stability purpose the rope should not be either too long or too short.

4. All the clamps and the bolts being used should posses ultimate tensile strength of greater than the manufacturer specified load limit.

5. Draft free areas should be choosen for installing.

6. Avoid using hammocks with open ends, as there is a chance of disconnecting during bouncing.
