Solution
There are primarily two models of law - the consensus model and the conflict model.
In case of concensus model of law, every functioning part of the system co-operates with each other to find the justice. In case of conflict model of law, every functioning part of the system is working for its own good. This eventually gives way to justice as a byproduct. This is the main difference between the two.
In reality, the conflict model of law depicts the method of justice in our society. The police tries to get the maximum clearance by torturing the suspects into confessing. The lawyers working for the actual criminals try to hide the truth and prove otherwise for their own gain. Hence, the conflict model reflects the real situation in the society.
