Using the compressibility chart in your textbook, estimate the value of Z for an oxygen tank pressurized to 700 psig at 96 °F. Would you use the ideal gas law in this case? Repeat for ethane gas at the same temperature and pressure.

in the compressibility chart, x- axis ---is pressure in psi,,,,y axis- is compressibility factor and the curve lines are the constant temperature lines...
so by compressibility cahrt,,,Z for oxygen at given condition is 0.972
no we can not use ideal gas case because the real gas beave like ideal gas in very specific condition of very low pressure and very high temperature, but the given case pressure is high and temperature is low, so oxygen will not behave like an ideal gas.
and at the same temperature and pressure Z for ethane is 0.947
