Purchase momentum in simpler terms is our tendency to continue buying products just as a result of buying impulses we have without taking decisions rationally before actually buying a product. It does not relate to the model of rational decision making. We know that purchase momentum will lead us to buy products and all we want is more and more products with us without any rational decisions. Impulse buying will not always imply rational decisions being made.
