Cloning is a method for obtaining organisms with similar genetic information. The method involves: (a) Collecting an egg cell from a donor (such as a female sheep or mouse or a cat; (b) removing the nucleus from the egg cell and collecting another cell from tissues of a male species including skin; (c) providing a gentle electric shock to the egg, the egg begins to divide and grows into a multicellular embryo; (e) implanting the egg into the uterus of a surrogate mother.
