Rx = 44.1 kN ; Ry = - 150 kN

Resultant , R = sqrt(Rx^2 + Ry^2)

= sqrt( 44.1^2 + 150^2) = 156.35 Nt

calculating moment of forces

Righting moment : RM = 150( 4 - 1.5) = 375 Nt-mt

Overtunring Moment : OM = 44.1*1 = 44.1 Nt-mt

Moment at the base = RM - OM = 375 - 44.1 = 330.9 Nt-mt

Location of Ry as measured from the toe

150*x = 330.9

x = 2.206 mt
