Service Set Identifier SSID also known as the wireless netwo

Service Set Identifier (SSID), also known as the wireless network name, identifies the wireless network. An SSID is configured on the wireless AP (on the access point for the infrastructure mode) or on an initial wireless client (for ad hoc mode). The SSID is periodically advertised by the wireless AP or the initial wireless client using a special 802.11 MAC management frame. Do some research on securing the SSID on wireless networks and share your findings with your classmates. Cite your resources.

=>now a days due to new technologies emerges ,it difficult to seecure the wireless networks from acessing of
other devices
i have done few research on how to secure the wireless network and secure the ssid

=>one of the way is protect your ssid (But How..?):
for avoiding of accessiblity for outside users ,please do not display or publish your original ssid.

how to change the default ssid : please refer the respective user documentation of your specified router
there he will specify how to change your respective ssid

=> another thing is disable the ssid broadcast (what is ssid broad cast..?)
the router will broadcast or propagate your ssid to find your device more easier which makes outside
user to get access easily(so what should i do ..?)
=>you can disable the ssid broadcast features .note that while disabling the ssid broadcasting you
should manually enter the routers ssid when any new device want to connect your router
