1)the method you need to to call is onCreateView() for custom dialogs to return view.

2)in location service

low_power: in this mode it uses low battery intensive mode by using wifi or cellular networks
no_power : no app will use the loaction service in this mode
high accuracy:this mode uses more battery and it also uses other sensors to get high accuracy loaction

3)passive : it is a loaction provider for recieving locations with out starting any location fix
network:this will determine the provides the location based on the network tower
gps: this will provide the location using satellites
passive will low power consumption
GPS is more expensive
