Determine whether the following statement is true or false I

Determine whether the following statement is true or false.

It is always true that P(A|B)=P(B|A)?

Solution

P(A/B) = P(AB)/P(B) provided P(B) not equal to 0

P(B/A) = P(AB)/P(A) provided P(A) not equal to 0

The both are not normally equal

If equal then P(A) should equal P(B)

Hence not always true.
