In an HR role, this can be taken up as a motivational tool. By knowing what are the particular things that need to be addressed, what is causing the shame, motivation can be created for the person and so new goals, new targets can be easily modified leading to better workforce and more motivated team and hence more successful business.
It can also lead to better hiring and create a better and more connected workplace.
As compared to Block\'s position on authenticity, which means for a consultant to be flawless, they need to be authentic, they should try to solve the problem with best of their knowledge and should not focus on the measured outcomes, it says that no one needs to act as consultants, and everyone should be accepted for who they are, expertise is take out of the equation which was there in case of Block\'s consideration.
