Solution
The teamwork stage that clarifies expectations that are accepted or violated by team members is:-
2. STORMING
STORMING is the Second Stage of Team Development. It often starts where there is a conflict between team members\' natural working styles. People may work in different ways for all sorts of reasons but, if differing working styles cause unforeseen problems, they may become frustrated. The conflict the group has been experiencing so far is helping them learn to cooperate and accept one another as individuals as well as group members. As they begin to respect and understand one another’s individuality, conflict will begin to give way to teamwork. The group will start to develop a clearer and more cohesive direction and begin to identify individual roles for each member. This is when group cohesion will begin to develop, which can solidify them as a group.
This stage introduces Intragroup Conflict and Competition. Members accept the team but resists the constraints on individuality. There will be conflict about who will control the team, polarization of opinions, sub-grouping by personality or work style, and a range of discontent from private frustration to flat-out confrontation. When the stage in complete a relatively clear hierarchy will emerge. The storming stage is necessary to the growth of the team.
