Leadership Bias is the tendency of the leader to be influenced towards a particular perspective. In business this affects the business decision making as the leader starts making decision that remains influenced by this bias rather than on facts.

In current case, the progress can be impacted by cognitive bias of the leader. This bias results in systematic error in thinking that affects the decisions and judgments of the leader due the way he perceive things.

The leader in this case makes decision based on the previous experience rather than current situation. This can affect the decision in current case as this project in new one and decision should be undertaken by considering the facts on hand rather than based on previous experience.
