Inadequuate information gathering, lack of techno functional capability, size of data and data management procedures, changing dynamics of business which has to be redesigned in BI tools has become the platform more complex.

The solution part of BI requires more investment in terms of technology ( tools + resources), functional ( experienced resources), changing business arena requires more re work on the tool . At times informstion itself become expensive which is used as input for BI tools.
