Create an inferential statistics hypothesis test using the f
Create an inferential statistics (hypothesis) test using the following variables:
H0: Purchasing yellow barrels (IV) will not increase sales (DV) for Monkey Business Inc.
H1: Purchasing yellow barrels (IV) will increase sales (DV) for Monkey Business Inc.
Determine the appropriate statistical tool to test the hypothesis.
Conduct a hypothesis test with a 95% confidence level, using the statistical tool.
Provide a step by step calculation that leads to a decision to reject or not to reject the hypotheses.

Solution
1. Suitable test statistic is paired t test.
2. Enter the data in Minitab and go to Stat> Basic statistics> Paired. Select \'Samples in each column\' and click OK.
The 95% confidence interval is (-5.93,10.91)
The p value is 0.548, which is not less than significance level, alpha=0.05. Therefore, fail to reject null hypothesis.
