Yes, it is feasible to obtain all the foods without relying on the locally irrigated lands because in the previous year there were no such harmful effects on the locally grown plants by insects, weeds, no further destruction of foods.. But now it is one of the major problems in agriculture.. Even now the farmers are getting Genetically modified crops to increase their yield hence we can buy them for our benefit,, more nutritional value,, more protection against insects..

We should buy them such that the farmers can adopt new methods of cultivation too other than traditional local irrigation..!!
