This is from a physics lab report; i\'m having trouble anazlyzing my data. the question says to calculate resistance of 100 ohm resistor using your data for each voltage step and find the experimental error. There is data for 2 lamps and the tubular resistor. what values do i use for the experimental error and what do i compare it to?

Solution

From the table calcuate the value of observed Resistance .. After getting a value of resistance, calculate the experimental error

Exprimental error = Observed value of resistance - 100 ohm <----- as 100 ohm is the actual resistance

Now compare the both values
