a) Electric potential V = kq/r

r = ((s/2)^2+(s/2)^2)^1/2 = 0.707 s

electric potential is scalar quantity

V =V1+V2+V3+V4

V = -kq/r +3kq/r = 2kq/r =2kq/0.707s

V = 2.83 (kq/s)

b) q =8.15 uC, s =34 cm

V = (2.83*9*10^9*8.15*10^-6)/(0.34)

V =6.11*10^5 V
