choose along the incline down as +x, perpendicularto the incline up as +y

initial velocity vx = 0, vy =40 ft/s

acceleration ax = gsin,ay = -gcos

from A to B, displacement x = R, y = 0

y = vyt + ayt2/2 =0

so t = -2vy/ay =2vy /(gcos)

R = vxt + axt2/2 =gsint2/2 = gsin[2vy/(gcos)]2/2 =2vy2sin/(gcos2) =66.3 ft
