the prophet Amos spoke out against injustices of the Northern Kings of Israel. He set the tone for centuries of prophetical figures in judaism, Christianity and Islam. Do you think churches have done enough with regard to social inequality, poverty, injustice and so on? What one issue do you think churches should address today

Solution

According to me, churches are doing all they can. Chuches nowadays suffer from lack of attendance. This is pretty common in the area were i lived. Our society has become very selfish and teh churches are suffering. The same people volunteer and help at church. After giving so much in time and money the ones who are always helping get burned out.

Then they begin to resent the people who don’t help. The ones who don’t help have an excuse of busy schedule.Those same people are the ones I see driving expensive cars or going on expensive trips. I believe the issue should be greed, the need for possessions. Our generations now believe that inorder to be happy they need stuff. More and more things. Young adults don’t understand the importance of being with others or even making something for another person. They would rather go to the store and buy something rather than make something or do something for someone else.
