Rational –empirical approach to change is one of the four basic strategy used to mange change in an organization. It is based on the assumption that people are rational and follow their self –interest once they understand it. Successful change is based on the communication of information and proffering of incentives. It is common nature of a person that he will change if he sees a good amount of interest and minimum risk was involved with it.
