Two angles of a triangle have the same measure and the third
Two angles of a triangle have the same measure and the third angle is
39°
greater than the measure of the other two. Find the measure of each angle.
Solution
Let the measure of first angle = x°
So according to question, two angles are same.
Hence measure of second angle = x°
Measure of third angle = x° + 39°
Now, sum of all angles of a triangle = 180°
So, x°+x°+x°+39° = 180°
3x°+39° = 180°
3(x°+13°) = 180°
x°+13° = 60°
x° = 60°-13°
x° = 47°
So measure of first and second angle = 47°
Measure of third angle = 47°+39° = 86°
