The m was correct, but I have no idea why b is incorrect...

Use the averages of the replicate absorbance measurements to determine the slope and y-intercept of the best-fit straight line. Predict the Fe^2+ concentration in an unknown sample that has an absorbance of 0.126. What is the uncertainty associated with the predicted Fe^2+ concentration? For part (a), use a graphing calculator or the SLOPE and INTERCEPT functions of Excel to calculate the slope and y-intercept. Use the averages of the replicate absorbance measurements (see below) in the calculations.

Solution

i am not able to paste but b value appears to be incorrect it should be closer to zero

the best fit equation appears to be y=6e-05 x + 0.002

now substitute y=0.126

we will find x

so, x= 2066
