I suppose the answer is required for number one only as per your Query.

SO Magnitude of electric field would be zero. this is because of symmetry there would be euqal and opposite electric field due to each charge which would cancel out.

E(0,2.0) would be a vector which would have resultant electric field along y axis as x component of elctric field would cancel out.
