Describe the three chemical classes of adenohypophyseal hormones and list the hormones that fall into each class. Describe the role of each of these hormones and the releasing and inhibiting hormones that control their secretion.

The hormones that fall in the category of adenohyposeal hormones are

(a) somatotrophin

(b) prolactin - It helps in milk secretion in female during pregnancy.

(c) follicle stimulating hormone - It results in the formation of the follicles in females..

(d) leutenizing hormone - triggers the ovulation and maturation of corpus leutum.. I also stimulate male leydig cells to release testosterone..

(e) melanocytes secreting hormone - it releases melanin which results in the giving colour of the body.

Hypothalamus secretion...

1) prolactin releasing hormone - it stimulate or inhibits in the secretion of prolactin hormone..

2) thyroptin releasing hormone - I secretion can stimulate or inhibits the secretion of thyroxine from thyroid glands..

3) growth inhibiting hormone (somatotsatin) - it\'s secretion inhibits the secretion of growth hormone and prevents the excessive growth..!!
