Solution

The area between -t to +t is 0.9, so the are for the critical region becomes 1-0.9= 0.1. This table given looks like the one tail table, so for single side alpha becomes 0.1/2 =0.05

So form tables value of t ate 0.05 with 6 degrees of freedon is 1.943
