For the circuit shown in the figure, find the current through and potential difference across each resistor. Place your results in a table.

Req of center branch

Req = 6 + 8*24/32 = 12 ohm

Req of circuit = 4 + 12*24/36 = 12 ohm

I = V/R = 24/12 = 2 A

I 4 = 2 A ,
I 24 = 12/36*2 = 0.666 A

I6 = 12/36*2 = 1.333 A

I8 = 24/32*1.333 = 0.99975 A

I24 center = 8/32*1.333 = 0.333 A

V = IR

V 4 = 4*2 = 8 V

V 24 = 24*0.666 = 15.98 V

I6 = 1.333*6 = 7.998 V

I8 = 24/32*1.333 = 0.99975*8 = 7.998 V

I24 center = 8/32*1.333 = 0.333*24 = 7.992 V
