In a scenario of your choice, describe how you could design a constrained interface to protect system availability.

Solution

Basically constrained interface would be one which restricts the user to access certain function operations and provide access to those only for which it is authorised.

These could Menus and Shells , DataBaseViews and Physical Constrained Interfaces.

For example if we discuss about Database views not everyone would be allowed to see and have access to all sort of data like in a company accounts department is not allowed to see data of hr department so they should get restricted/constrained data view.
