Given,

MB = 2

MR = 10

VB1 = 5

LR = 1.2

Coefficient of restriction ( C ) = 0.75

Appling conservation of momentum in x direction

MB*VB1 = MB*VB2 + MR*VR2

2*5 = 2*VB2 + 10*VR2            --- (a)

C = VB1 / ( VR2 – VB2 )

0.75 = 5 / ( VR2 – VB2 )          ------ (b)

Solving equation a & b , we get

VR2 = 1.945

VB2 = -4.722

= 1.945/1.2 = 1.621
