Scientific knowledge would be nehanced with de-extinction which will offer insights into evolution and natural resources and also would bring technological advancement in genetic engineering. There might be also some kind of environmental benefits such as threatened or damaged ecosystems will be restored and plant and animals species which were pushed into extinction, we owe to try and bring them back.

Still there are some ethics behind this and some times this may be even harmfull and there for e there should be ethical comitee to look after all prospects before doing such experinment. because it is not going to affect a single person but as a whole in cmmunity so a group of people from different field should deceide on it in each individual case.
