I checked voltage on R1 and I got the result given below

According to the simulation result, voltage on R1 increases.

Is it possible? Voltage source was DC, not AC.

Solution

There is no time varying source in the ciruit or any other reactive elemnet, hence current through R1 should be DC current, Voltage across R1 should be constant with respect to time
