1- Explain the difference(s) between task level and business process level models in the REA ontology.
Solution
Please follow the data and description :
In the concept of the REA ontology the purpose and the use of the task level modeling is to document the flow of data through an enterprise system. All the activities that are involved in the inflow, processing, and outflow of the data are included in task level models. No pattern has been identified for this kind of tasks.
On the other hand the purpose of the business process level modeling is to design a sample database, which is, to establish the architecture and the pattern for the storage of data completely over the information. A database should not need be significantly changed anytime with the workflow changes. Therefore most of the tasks are not used as base or the primary elements in databases that are effectively and exclusively designed with the REA ontology.
In general the events in the business process level models are called as the tasks, that are the specific process and the steps that are required to fulfill an event. The data captured as a result of the tasks may be included in the business process level models as the attributes, and the respective data needed to accomplish the tasks can be retrieved from the database via queries.
Hope this is helpful.
