Let the three vertices be A,B and C and let the sides be

AB=a

BC=b

CA=c

To find the perimeter of the triangle we need to find a,b and c

clearly cordinates of A=(1,1) ,B=(7,0) and C=(5.5,5)

the length of a line segment given the end cordinates is = ((x1-x2)²+(y1-y2)²)^1/2 where the end cordinates are (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)

Now

AB=a =6 cm
