1)      Disease is transmitted by mosquitos.

2)      West nile virus is found in many countries around. Most of the cases are not symptomatic or shows mild symptoms of flu like headache, fever, muscle pain etc. But around less than 1% cases catch severe neurological diseases. People with immunosuppressed diseases like HIV, individual who are immunosuppressed due to any medical condition are more susceptible. Virus infection causes brain inflammation, west nile meningitis, poliomyelitis, meningoencephalitis etc.

The people who are suffering with immunosuppressed diseases like HIV or immunosuppressed individuals due to various medical conditions should be the prime target audience. The infected individuals who are living in area with less hygiene (source of mosquito spread) are most likely going to spread the disease. The virus is very common in countries like Africa, west and central Asia, The Middle East, Europe, particularly southern Europe, North, Central and South America, The Caribbean, Australia. The doctors and health care professional and researchers should be aware about the disease, so they can be safe themselves and can guide others about the harmful effects of the disease.

4)      The information about nile virus can be spread by various means nile social media (radio, television, social websites etc.), educational institutions (school, college, institutions), putting banners at public place, hospitals and small clinics etc.

5)      The chances of infection can be reduced by keeping surrounding neat and clean and reducing the mosquito reproduction.
