First part is to evaluate limit fo F(x) as x tends to -1 but not the value of F(-1) which is equal to -2
Look at the graph and we see as x tends to -1 ,F(x) tends to -3
So, lim_{x tends to -1}F(x)=-3
Second part is done.
Here limit does not exist because limit is different from left side of x=1 and right side of x=1
