Supose that the committee should have one president which has to be a female and two ordinary members who must be males. how many different committees are possible?

Selcting a female from 4 = 4 C1

And 2 Males from 8 = 8 C 2

Number of total diffrent committes will be = 4 C 1 * 8 C 2 = ( 4/1) * ( 8*7/2*1) = 112
