Using the counting principle.

we have to multiply the number of choices for each card together.

As there are 4 sets. 8 can be drawn in 4 different ways.

similarly 10 can be drawn in 4 ways.

4*4 = 16 ways.

16*2 = 32 ways, because based on whether 8 or 10 is drawn first.

To pick 8 or 10, there are 32 different ways.
