(Molecular) Would changing the concentration of a negative allosteric regulator affect activity (would increasing it increase activity, decrease it, or not change it at all)?

I think increasing concentration would decrease activity but I\'m not 100% sure.

Solution

in allosteric inhibition (negative allosteric regulator) , the inhibitor when binds to the enzyme at a diffeent site than active site, induces a change in the conformation in such a manner that the substrate cannot bind anymore.

so naturally when substance will not be bound properly enzyme activity would be decreased.
