Solution

The video shows the rolling and sticking of leukocytes along the endothelial cells cause by the action of P selectins. This is brought out by the interaction between proteoglycans(PSGL1) present on the surface of leukocytes and P-selectins found on surface of endothelial cells.P selectins are found in the Weibel–Palade bodies of the endothelial cells and they ate transported to the cell surface once the endothelial cells are activated. The P selectins then take part in inflammatory responses. The sticking and rolling of the leukocytes result from binding and unbinding of PSGL1 to selectins. This helps in transport of leukocytes to the site of infection from the blood vessels.
