Since the feeder canal is the main source for the given area , which is supplying water through mains, then its is being delivering to the other branches and sub-mains. There is some locations in which tubewell is the source of water supply, The overhead water tank is delivering water to the supply system.

This dead end system is relatively cheap to other distribution systems. The determination of discharges and pressure is easier due to less number of valves. But due to many dead end, the stagnation of water occurs in the pipes.
