Perimeter = 29 meters

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + width)

==> 29 = 2(x + 1.2x)

==> 29 = 2(2.2)x

==> 29 = 4.4x

==> x = 29/4.4

==> x = 145/22

Hence width of room = 145/22 = 6.591 meters
