a) To select 5 members out of 10 female and 10 male candidates, with any kind of possibility, we have

selection of 5 out of 20 candidates equally likely, this can be done in 20C5 ways. = 15504 ways.

b) 2 men and 3 women can be selected in 10C2 * 10C3 = 120*45 = 5400 ways
