1. Do you think there is a downside to the MCC program for Deloitte and its employees? Explain your answer.

Solution

MCC program is mass career customization program at Deloitte.

This program assumes that employees need not only move up. The program allows employees to consider changes in their work related to - workload, location, role and pace.

As the employees can think and consider on the four important dimensions as mentioned above, their morale increases.

Although there is no tangible and strong downside to MCC, it can lead to conflicting mindsets in case of a few employees who are not able to decide amongst the choices to customize their careers as priorities change over time.

Other than this, i do not think there is a downside to MCC for both Deloitte and its employees. It creates a win win situation for both Deloitte and its employees.
