On a oscilloscope I cannot get waveform and it does not gene

On a oscilloscope I cannot get waveform and it does not generate a signal. I am just getting a straight line as shown in the figure below. all connections are perfect but i dont know what is the problem. Please help me to get a sinosoidal signal on oscilloscope.

Solution

Please check once any loose connections are there and increase amplitude of function generator
