Assume one of your organization’s leaders asked you to help with a restructuring initiative. You are being asked to develop a plan to restructure the organization in order to increase productivity and flexibility. Based on your reading of the textbook, where would you begin? Which of the options in the textbook would you consider or recommend and tell why (functional, divisional, network based, matrix structure, or other)? How would envision your selected option improving organizational functioning? Explain.

restruction can be done in two ways. one is change the people work place and roles and the other is change the process along with some funcions, or divisions.
i will consider the nature of business of our company. if it is in service sector i will focuses on the people and thire roles at work. i will try to be implement the best and expect the best result or output.
if my comapny is a manufacturing firm, then it is difficult to restructure. i should have complete awareness about the total process, total departments, and the links or integration among the departments and organisational structure also. in this case first i will try to change the process of the activity. i make it flexible and i work to build strong relations among the different departments. once if the departments are working with coordination and cooperation there wont be anhy problems later.
